Without it, video consultations may lack the depth and effectiveness of a true medical session. Not having a Medical Folder may entail risks, as it could impact the accessibility and organization of your medical information during a session. Your access to CAREPOI remains unchanged, regardless of your decision to use a Medical Folder.

Additionally, healthcare providers can contribute specialist letters, referral letters, and other pertinent information related to your care.
During video consultation sessions, the CAREPOI Medical Folder facilitates the entry of essential information by your online healthcare provider. This could encompass details of consultations, treatments, and even family medical histories shared with your healthcare provider.
A CAREPOI Timeline Summary is a snapshot of your healthcare status at a specific moment, crafted by your designated healthcare provider, typically your GP. This summary proves especially beneficial if you have intricate health requirements or receive care from multiple healthcare providers. It serves as a valuable resource for new doctors or healthcare professionals you may encounter, offering a clinically pertinent overview of your health. With a Timeline Summary, you no longer need to recall or reiterate details of past medications, significant test results, or other treatments you’ve undergone.
Your Authorized Collaborator is the healthcare provider who agrees with you to develop and manage your CAREPOI Medical Folder. For most individuals, the Authorized Healthcare Provider is typically their GP, as they are usually the primary provider overseeing ongoing and coordinated care.
The selection of your Authorized Healthcare Provider is made through mutual agreement via a simple drag-and-drop process within your CAREPOI Medical Folder. Should you wish to change your Authorized Healthcare Provider, you can easily remove the current one and add another doctor or healthcare provider. It’s important to note that having an Authorized Healthcare Provider is not mandatory to have a CAREPOI Medical Folder.
Prescriptions are now conveniently accessible within your CAREPOI Medical Folder, enhancing the safety and effectiveness of medication management in healthcare. This feature provides a detailed overview of prescribed medications, including brand and ingredient names, dosage, and consumption instructions. As medications are dispensed, this information is updated accordingly.
This comprehensive view empowers users, especially those with complex medication regimens, by granting access to vital medication details. Over time, improved health outcomes are anticipated as healthcare providers leverage this information within the CAREPOI Medical Folder to make more informed clinical decisions.
It’s important to note that medication information is available under the ‘Prescriptions’ section of your CAREPOI Medical Folder only if your prescribing clinician (e.g., GP) or dispensing health provider (e.g., pharmacist) participates in the CAREPOI system and utilizes compatible software.
The presence of the “Diagnostic Imaging Reports” link indicates that your CAREPOI Medical Folder can store not only pathology reports and data (such as blood tests) but also reports from diagnostic imaging procedures (like ultrasounds). Healthcare providers who use the CAREPOI Medical Folder can access these reports to aid in making informed clinical decisions regarding your diagnosis, treatment, and overall care.
The CAREPOI Medical Folder isn’t currently available as a standalone app due to its complexity. However, you can access it through any POI station, including those designed for home use. These stations provide internet access, allowing you to view and edit your data.
In the event of lost or forgotten credentials, reaching out to SYSTSERV via their online form is necessary. Proof of identity must be provided online to facilitate the retrieval of credentials.
